Casper is intended exclusively for users who are 13 years of age or older. This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, do not use this service. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will terminate the account and delete associated data immediately.

Casper includes a Parent Portal at askcasper.ai/parents. Parents or guardians may create a separate account and link it to a teen's account using the teen's Ghost Key. Once linked, a parent can view full conversation transcripts, safety alerts, and activity summaries.
Teens are made aware that Casper is a monitored platform. Transparency is a core feature of our service.
We retain conversation messages and account data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, contact us at privacy@askcasper.ai and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
Casper does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We use session storage in your browser to maintain your logged-in state. We may collect basic analytics (page visits, session counts) through Cloudflare's infrastructure-level tools. No behavioral advertising profiles are created from your data.

Casper is an AI-powered chat companion for teens, built for conversation, homework help, creative exploration, and general companionship. Casper is powered by large language model technology and generates responses automatically.
Casper is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing Casper says constitutes medical, legal, psychological, financial, or any other form of professional advice. Do not rely on Casper for decisions that require a qualified professional.
Casper may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses despite our moderation systems. We are continuously improving but cannot guarantee perfection.

Casper offers two optional paid subscriptions:
Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Free users receive 10 messages per 60-minute window. Free message limits are subject to change.
Parents and guardians may create a separate Parent Portal account to monitor their teen's conversations. By linking to a teen's account, you acknowledge that the teen will be informed that Casper is a monitored platform. Parent Portal AI Insights features are available for $5.00/month.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Casper. By using the service, you grant Casper AI, Ltd. a limited license to process and store your messages solely for the purpose of operating the service, including safety moderation, conversation history, and Parent Portal features.
We do not use your conversations to train AI models or sell your content to third parties.
Casper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Casper AI, Ltd. and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Casper name, logo, ghost character, and all associated branding are the property of Casper AI, Ltd. The Casper character and related intellectual property are subject to third-party rights. All rights reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding without written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date when we do. Continued use of Casper after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
